I applied for the position toward the end of September and was contacted for an interview just a few hours later. The first round was a brief, 15-minute phone screen with an HR representative. Shortly after that conversation, I was invited to the second round—a 30-minute phone interview with a senior loans manager, scheduled two days later.
The second interview focused more on my professional background, work experience, and my interest in both Supernova Technology and the specific role. About five days after that interview, I received a rejection email.
Overall, I felt I was a strong fit for the position, especially since it emphasized leadership and collaboration—areas where I have substantial experience. I made sure to communicate those strengths during the second round. Because this was a training program, I assumed the company was primarily seeking candidates with the right skill set and growth potential rather than deep expertise. For that reason, I was a bit disappointed by the outcome, as I believed my qualifications aligned closely with the role’s expectations.
