Put in application and sent a personal email to HR Manager at that time. Heard back within a couple of days from a very pleasant HR rep to set up an interview the next week. He wasn't totally sure who my interview would be with, but gave me a date and time for the interview.
Showed up for interview slightly early and the receptionist went to look for who I would be meeting with. The first management team member came and got me and seemed a bit unclear about who was supposed to be interviewing me, crediting this to the HR rep who had set up the interview. Ultimately it was the operations manager and HR manager who I sat down with for the interview.
The interview was straightforward, with pretty standard questions regarding experience, etc. Both interviewers were great and easygoing, and didn't hesitate to crack jokes and keep things light. I had a good feeling about the interview and there seemed to be mutual interest. The HR manager walked me out and indicated I would probably be followed up with the next week regarding next steps.
I followed up with the HR Manager and Operations Manager multiple times over the course of the next three weeks, via email and phone, and did not hear anything back from either of them. They had each given me their business cards, so it seemed quite odd and unprofessional that they never responded.
Fast forward 3 weeks , and I finally received an email from the HR rep who had initially set up the interview, saying that I had not been selected for the position. At this point I had not been expecting an offer anyway, but it was a slap in the face to never get a response from the management who had interviewed me, then finally hear back from a lower-level employee after being ghosted for 3 weeks.
I would definitely give it another shot since Superfeet seems to be a great company as a whole, but this initial experience did leave a bad impression.
