They used a recruiting company for initial contact. I had a phone screening and a zoom interview with the recruiter. I also completed a personality assessment. I was then invited to an in-person interview and then a zoom interview with the two hiring supervisors. I was told I would be moving forward to the final interview with the Owners. I awaited scheduling and then was contacted that due to a review of my social media that I was no longer being considered for the position. After I reviewed my social media there were no posts that were illegal, immoral, or defaming that would justify their decision. What it came down to is I had publicly posted about my religious beliefs and my political world views. I made the decision to take all of my social media private and made Sunset aware that I was willing to keep it private and sign a social media policy to that effect. Their response wa: we do have a social media policy and after internal discussions we don't feel there is enough of a culture fit to move forward. Bottom-line, I am a conservative and they are liberals. Even after taking my social media posts private, they were unable to afford for the interview process to continue. This means they were not concerned about the social media posts being public as they previously stated....they were concerned that I was a conservative and not a liberal. This is a factual account. Be full warned.....This company discriminates against those whose world views, beliefs and opinions differ than thiers.
