I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sunrun (Ventura, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
1st interview: by Phone. Job recruiter told me a little bit about company and the role of the position. Then asked me a couple of questions, then asked if I had questions, then gave me opportunity to discuss experiences. Conversation was candid and informal, and all my inquiries were answered clearly. Called back an hour later to tell me I made it to the second interview and we set that up.
2nd interview: In person at local offices, interviewed in a four person (2 male, 2 female) group. Prior group interviews in my experience were conducted differently. Interviewer was a seasoned top executive of the local branch who first gave us a little bit of his own background, then asked us a little about ourselves, put us in a sales scenario, and asked a couple of individual questions. We were told that we would be contacted within twenty four hours to set up a 3rd one on one interview,
After 72 hours, I contacted the recruiter and told her I had yet to hear anything, she said to give her a day and she would find out what the holdup was. The next day, I received a rejection letter via email.
I believe that I would be employed with this company if the job recruiter was doing the hiring.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sunrun (Houston, TX) in May 2024
