Amateur hour in the recruiting department! Recruiter gave me the runaround, didn’t call when she was scheduled to do so and was also dishonest about reasons why. Disrespectful of applicants time. A little honesty and/or transparency goes a long way.
In the future I’d suggest being open and honest about where you are in the hiring process regarding other other candidates instead of scheduling and rescheduling calls as a back up
