Responded to application quickly, but the interview was poor. The interviewer was unfriendly and moody - they look annoyed the whole time. They didn't introduce the role or the team, went straight into questions and I had to ask key questions about the role. I decided not to move ahead.

Interview
Story time! I was scheduled to have my first interview with the HR (virtually as the job is remote), and they didn’t show. It ended up being that they forgot to send the email the they had to reschedule. Once we rescheduled, I was told that I would have 2 more interviews with upper management. Then 1 hour before my 2nd interview, I received an automated email saying I was denied the position. I contacted HR and was told they sent it by mistake and I still had my scheduled interview that day. So when I waited for the person to join our scheduled interview, it was again another no-show. I waited 15min before I sent a follow up to check in and was sent to voicemail. Then an hour later, I got a call from another person in upper management apologizing that his wife had to leave abruptly for something with their kids. I then had the interview with them since I couldn’t with the original person. They expressed that they wanted to hire very quickly, and that they were hoping to offer the job to someone the next day or the following Monday (it was currently Thursday). I then asked off work early the next day so I could do the final interview and was told I would hear back early the next week with an answer as to if I was moving forward or not. I didn’t hear anything, so I called on Wednesday to follow up and left a voicemail. I then emailed them and still received no answer. Then on Thursday, I received an automated email saying I was denied the position.
As you can tell, this was a very messy and unorganized situation. It gave a very bad first impression. On top of that, I felt that me and my time were not respected, especially because they didn’t have the kindness to email me personally to tell me I had been denied.
I was looking forward to receiving this job but in hindsight, I think I lucked out. This may be a good representation of how they treat their employees and clients.
I hope they can make the interview process smoother for others in the future.
