I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Subway (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2013
Interview
I applied online. I didn't have work experience. Around 3 days later I received a call asking me to com next day for interview. The guy who called gave me the address and hung up. I didn't hear the address properly so I spend the rest of the day looking and calling for the address. I still had no luck so I called the number he called me from and explained the situation and they told me to just come to that location. The next day when I arrived the manager was not there and I was waiting 20 minutes for the crew to tell me he is at another location. They took my information down and I never heard from them again

I interviewed at Subway
Interview
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
