I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Subway (The Hague) in Aug 2018
Interview
Interviewed while having a 6” steak and cheese. They gave it as a complimentary service for interviewing and wanted to know if I wanted it toasted or not. I told them whole wheat and toasted would be delicious. Killed them with kindness about how tasty the toasted steak and cheese was. Hired me on the spot. The recruiter said it would be a tough interview and to prepare in the mirror a lot and give a firm handshake. No need. Just smile and east the sandwich. All good.
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
