I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Striiv (Redwood City, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
It was a multi-Stage interview process. With a phone screen, a phone interview, then in person interviews in groups/panels. Review of portfolio work with potential team members, and engineers.

Question 1
Explain a project/design, the problems you faced and how you solved them.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Striiv in Nov 2015
Interview
30 min phone screen. Onsite for 7 hours meeting 7 people and 3 hour programming challenge and lunch with senior guy. There is no closed door office, so interviews are conducted in a outdoor type shed from home depot
My interview was frustrating because I told him in the screening it was a stretch for my background but he insisted I come on site for an "easy" programming test. They later admitted that many senior canidates don't complete the test. He also forgot that my background was in a different title as should have been understood in the phone screening.

Question 1
in language of your choice: parse csv file to group user records containing start date and duration of use x days of date given. output csv file to group showing activation date and sliding gradient in decimal value of customers still active on per date basis.
The process took 2 weeks, and there was no assistance for the on site. The first one was the general interview with the HR, including some basic questions like introducing and portfolio review. Afterwards, I have to do an assignment of writing a functional specification and a short paper of illustrating some products I love and why. The onsite interview took for an hour. There is a huge difference between the expectation from the hiring manger and the description from HR.
