Before they give you a chance to speak on technical topics and your relevant experience, they conduct a 20 minute cultural interview by phone. They told me it would be with the Director of HR or their Director of Employee Engagement. The interviewer was neither of these. Too bad, because she was not really engaged during the interview. I made a point to communicate my enthusiasm for their business model and contrast it with traditional Owner-Architect-Contractor relationships. I did my homework, I was genuinely excited about the company, and it showed. Surprising I got such a deadpan response on the other end of the line.
