I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Stotles (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
The recruiter reached out, and after sharing the resume, the follow-up technical interview was scheduled within a week. I was informed of the technical interview process ahead by the recruiter and was told it is a collaborative process to gauge the way the candidate solves problems. And the interview reflected that the interviewers were collaborative and respectful.

What considerations would you make before taking this system under question live?
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stotles (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
Ghosted on the day of agreed Final in-person non technical meet & greet Round at their London office – Disrespectful and Disorganized Process
After clearing all the interview stages for a Staff Software Engineer. The process ended in a way that was incredibly disrespectful of my time and professional courtesy.
- The Timeline: On Monday, I was urged to book my final stage in-person non-technical meet & greet interview at their office. I immediately responded.
- The Confirmation: By Tuesday, the Talent Partner confirmed my final in-person interview for Wednesday afternoon, stating they were just finalizing who I would meet.
- The Ghosting: I cleared my work schedule and obtained permission from my current employer to physically attend. Wednesday came and went with zero communication from the company. No meeting update, no cancellation nothing. I emailed them and even dropped linkedin message where their talent partner, who was coordinating the process, was online. Normally she replies immediately. But this time she chose not to reply.
- The Aftermath: I followed up on Thursday with similar email and Linkedin message — silence. Finally, on Friday, I received a generic "we moved forward with another candidate" rejection email, completely ignoring the fact that I had a confirmed final round interview that they simply failed to show up for.
They treated me with zero respect. They "asked" me to come for a final in-person interview at their London office, confirmed a time for an office visit, and then ghosted me right on the day of "the final round".
Advice to Management:
It is honestly shameful that you feel comfortable treating candidates like dirt and to leave a finalist candidate hanging on the day of their confirmed in-person interview. If you fill the role, atleast have the decency to cancel the remaining interviews immediately. Treating candidates this way reflects how little value you have for people.
Advice to candidates:
If you want a reliable company that will respect your time and provide honest feedback with dignity, stay away from Stotles. Do not be fooled by the high ratings or initial friendliness; it is a facade.
You can see the true nature of a company based on how they treat candidates during interviews and Stotles feels very comfortable ghosting candidates even for an agreed in-person final stage, which is next-level disrespect and it displays a shocking lack of basic human decency.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Stotles (London, England) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview was canceled 5 minutes before the time saying they went with other candidates.
They had enough time to cancel it but still delayed it till the last minute.
As everyone else has said on Glassdoor, they seem to have pre decided on candidates or the HR person is just trying to meet her quota or something
