      Interview

The interview process for this role was fair, well-organised and thorough. I felt there was strong communication through all the stages and I had the undivided attention of each manager at each stage. They were transparent on compensation and business ethos.

      Team Lead Interview

      4 Mar 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Austin, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Austin, TX) in Feb 2021

      Interview

A 30 minute telephone interview with the hiring manager, followed by additional interviews if selected to continue. The hiring manager places an outbound call to you. Depending upon whether or not they have a hard stop at the end of that 30 minutes, they may allow for a longer initial interview, but this was not my experience. The interview was going very well and my candidacy was not in doubt; however, when I was asked about starting immediately and I advised that I would need to give notice (the standard two weeks) to my current employer, the tone of the interview changed. I had held off on applying for this position despite seeing it posted on LinkedIn and other opportunity boards frequently, and it may be due to the expectation that a new hire would start immediately. I do not know if this is trustworthy or a good business practice. As soon as I advised that I would only be able to transition to their company if I were to give notice, it was as if the qualifications were irrelevant. That the job was posted once again almost immediately raises concerns that there are attrition problems within the company, which makes me hesitant to apply for future opportunities.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was asked about the KPIS to which my agents and direct reports are held accountable in my current leadership role as well as my experience with data analysis, mentorship, and teambuilding.
