I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2015
Interview
saw the ad on my school's career page. applied. got an e-mail about 2 weeks later asking me to take a few tests (data entry/skills, typing, personality). all easy. a few days later got an e-mail saying the results were competitive. a few days later got an email saying that i had been selected for a phone interview and to set up a time. interview was a few days after that. was asked about my education background, what i know about state farm, my duties at my past jobs; a series of yes or no questions; and 4 behavioral/STAR questions: what is your work ethic? tell about a time you had to work in a team? tell about a time you dealt with a difficult customer? tell about a time you had to work with multiple forms of technology with a customer? (i've never done so before but i told her what i would do if i had to and how i would adjust to working w/ multiple forms). she explained the details of the job and placed me on a brief hold. was given a contingent job offer pending drug and background check. very very easy interview. glassdoor helped, hope this helps!
