After a considerable period following the online application (weeks, so that I assumed I had been passed over), I received an email seeking a phone interview; I responded and submitted to about a 40 minute phone conversation with an intelligent reviewer, who was certainly following a script. It took three more weeks for them to decide not to call me in for an in-person interview.
