The interview process took over 3 months, and communication was extremely slow. However, I really enjoyed the people I was meeting with and the mission of the organization, and the salary was quite good, so was willing to put up with everything.
However, the worst part was towards the end. I received an email from HR that I was in the final stretch, and that I just needed to complete a writing sample and a parent interview for an offer to be made. I completed the writing sample the same day, and then was left waiting for over a week before I was told that the position had been given to an internal candidate. The way everything had been phrased up to that point, I had assumed I would be receiving an offer and I just needed to complete some formalities, but apparently that was not the case.
I applied online. I interviewed at Start Early (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Met first with two people on the team. Second interview was with 4-5 people on other teams the role works closely with. Third interview was with the direct hiring manager/supervisor.
Con: Communication during the process was pretty slow.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Start Early (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2023
Interview
I had a phone interview with recruiter (15 min), followed by a panel interview of 45-1 hour with 4 people who worked there and then with the Hiring Manager and the VP of Educare
