Contacted by a recruiter via email to set up an initial phone conversation. When it was the time that we had agreed upon I didn't receive a call. I had to email him back to confirm I had the time correct. So, our meeting started 15 minutes late. The first call was great and very informal asking why I was interested and I explained my experience and career goals. At the conclusion of this call he informed me I would be moving on to the next step so this included completing an assessment. The online assessment took a lot of time and was very lengthy. After completing I met with the talent recruiter onsite, again he was 10 minutes late to greet me in the lobby. From there we went to a conference room and he asked me many of the same questions we already discussed via phone. Then, he "was going to get the individual I was interviewing with" and stated that he had an urgent meeting and wouldn't be able to make it. So, I basically wasted my time coming onsite and didn't really even get to interview. I was extremely frustrated with the lack of professionalism. I will not be looking for any further opportunities at Starkey due to this experience.
