I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Starbucks (Sacramento, CA) in Aug 2007
Interview
I went in to couple different starbucks locations to see where I would like to work. Ran into a friend who worked at this particular starbucks. After filling out an application I talked with other baristas and really liked the mood of the whole place. I got a call to come in for one on one interview and was asked basic questions about my sales experience, why I want to work with the company, and if I like working with people.

Question 1
Describe a difficult situation with a customer in the past and how you dealt with it?
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
After applying online they invited me for an online interview that was a group interview then the next stage would have been a one to one digital interview over zoom.

What's a difficult customer interaction you've had?
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
