I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Starbucks (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied for 5 locations online. I was called back by one location. I met with the manager a few days later. The manager asked me some basic questions about hobbies and why I wanted the job. I dressed in business casual clothes. The manager offered me the job immediately. I accepted immediately also. I felt like the manager had similar interests to mine and that I would fit in well with the other workers.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
