StandardAero interview questions

The recruiter that was working this requisition is super kind. She has made the process so much smoother and I wish all recruiters could be like Andrea. I did not move forward in the process after my interview with the VP of HR, as the role was a little more HRBP oriented, which was outside of my expertise and I was not fully qualified just yet, but Andrea's communication and personality is top notch.

Really frustrating experience with this recruiter. At the start, communication was very active. She called multiple times, seemed very engaged, and pushed things forward quickly. I ended up interviewing, including a technical round with the team manager and member. During the interview, I was told I’d hear back within two weeks. When that passed, I followed up and was told I was still in the candidate pool and would get an update in another two weeks. After that, nothing. It’s now been 5 weeks with complete silence. No update, no rejection, no closure. What’s frustrating isn’t just the delay, it’s the lack of basic follow through. If timelines change, just say it. If im not qualified, just simply reject. Completely ghosting a candidate after that level of engagement is unprofessional and disrespectful of our time. Recruiters represent the company they work for in the very beginning. If ghosting is the final step after promised timelines, it reflects how disrespectful the company as a whole is toward people.
