I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in Jan 2008
Interview
Most components were pleasant, easy going conversations focused on experience and competencies. Was an extensive personality/aptitude test conducted by a third-party that was lengthy, rigorous and formal but otherwise no odd-ball questions or anything like that from most interviewers, non-adversarial. Only negative was the time the process took, about 3 month in total, with long delays between conversations. Indicative of how long it takes to get things done.
