Initially contacted by a St. Jude recruiter. Had an initial phone interview with the position's supervisor. The interview was straight forward - discussion of my skills and experience and discussion of the position. A few weeks after that conversation, the supervisor reached out to me to say that the position was going to be rewritten and I should reapply. The process of rewriting the position took 6-8 weeks. After reapplying, there was a round of second phone interviews with 3-4 people. After one last round of interviews with a senior member of hospital, I was offered the job. I think my process was a little longer than is typical but it was 6 months from the time I was initially contacted to when I started work. Everyone was very kind and helpful. It really comes through how important the mission is to the employees.
