I interviewed with Spotnana in August 2023. The process consisted of two parts: a take-home assignment and a virtual onsite interview. Throughout the process, I noted several examples of miscommunication and an overall lack of responsiveness from the recruiter. Highlights: - They didn't ask the usual LeetCode-style questions. I felt that the questions were very relevant to your day-to-day work. Lowlights: - The first step was a take-home assignment. I was told that it was a single task with a 45-minute time limit. However, there were actually two tasks, each with a 45-minute time limit, and once you started, you couldn't pause it. - After I submitted the assignment, I didn't hear back from the recruiter, so I had to follow up, and only then was the onsite interview scheduled. - Before the onsite interview, I hadn't had a single call with anyone from the Spotnana team, neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager. - I was promised "Feedback from Spotnana within 48 hours of interviewing." However, after the onsite interview, I waited for three weeks and didn't receive any updates. Finally, I wrote to the recruiter and received a 'no-reply' email from some automatic tool, stating that they "did not identify your profile as a match." After spending six hours on their interview process, I would have expected a more personal approach.
