Specific Media interview questions

Invited in via email, the interviewers were lovely and interview was very informal and enjoyable. The negative part is that the whole process took over a month. From my 1st interview, I was very impressed and excited about the company. 2 weeks later, after asking them a couple of times if they had made a decision, I was told I had got through to 2nd round. 2nd round was good but asked some bizarre questions, then a further 3 weeks passed, heard nothing and when I asked, told I wasn't chosen because others had more experience. By this point I had forgotten I even wanted the job! never known companies take that long just for interview process.
