I first met Brad, the CEO, through email correspondence. Before the interview, I was asked to bring two professional references. When I walked in, I was greeted by all members of staff (not just the front desk) and was kindly offered a tea or water. I wasn't waiting long before I was seated on a large comfortable cushioned chair. There were 4 members of staff sitting around me. I could smell someone's breakfast cooking, and it was a more business casual environment. My resume was digitally projected on a large screen, and then the interview began. I was there for about an hour. There were more serious moments, and some funnier moments. All in all, I felt very relaxed, and it felt more like a large discussion than it did me being put on the spot. When I did speak, I was listened to attentively and never interrupted. I left with Allison escorting me to the door, and we made small talk about our upcoming weekends as I put my coat on. I left feeling like this would be a great place to work, and nonetheless, a great interview and a fantastic institution!
