I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sonfarrel (Anaheim, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
There were 2 group interviews. The first was pleasant. The second, terrible - the COO, Al Deville, is a humorless ---- and must be a nightmare to work for. They asked me to come up with the corrective action for a real-life issue they had just encountered, but they was not enough data to support any root cause corrective action (all I was given was the shop traveler). It was even questionable as to whether Sonfarrel even made the parts their customer were complaining about. Nonetheless, Al obviously didn't understand the RCCA process. Only an 'interim' action could be taken at that time until a proper investigation could be performed was to add additional inspection for the particular issue the customer had with the product to prevent it from escaping to the customer again. And if it happened again, to then determine why (in real time) what exactly happened. And one piece of advise: never use recruiters - all good companies advertise their opportunities.
