I initially applied for one position through the website, then I was contacted to interview for another position. I had a phone screening where the details of the position either could not or would not be explained to me. "Performing experiments and writing lab reports" is not an appropriate job description. I drove 3.5 hours from my home to have a pre-interview lunch. Only after that was I selected for an on-site interview. The interview was rather difficult, and the still the details of the job could not be explained to me. Now, it has been over 4 months, and I never heard one way or the other. And I am still waiting for my interview expenses to be reimbursed.
