I applied for the job and HR reached out to me to discuss the opportunity. She mentioned that the role requires around 70% travel. I responded by politely saying that that is too much and I wouldn't be interested. She reached out again later on to try to persuade me to come in to have someone show me around and get introduced to the company. I said I could stop by on a certain date/time. I get no confirmation until the morning of the day I was to come by. I arrive and am greeted by a nice employee (one of the interviewers). The other man had was very unpleasant from the beginning. Asking suspicious questions such as, "So what did you tell your boss to get out of work today?" In addition, they were expecting this to be a formal interview even though their own HR manager invited to come in for a quick tour and to meet some people. Becuase of this, they felt that I did not come in "prepared enough". Overall, this was a bizarre experience and I couldn't really take them seriously as a company from their poor behavior. Needless to say, I wanted to leave after the first 10 minutes.
