Socialive Sales Development Representative (Remote) interview questions

I applied for a job described as "...responsible for servicing inbound sales and related inquiries...". Fifteen minutes into the interview, the employee stated that this would be a 100% outbound cold calling position. When I advised them as to the terms of the role I applied for, they claimed that there is "some overlap" in the position they were actually hiring for. This was a waste of my time. I honestly do not understand why an organization would allow their first contact with a prospective employee to be based upon either misrepresentation or organizational dysfunction.
