I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Smile Direct Club (New York, NY)
Interview
Interview process was standard, interview with recruiter, district manager, regional manager. 1 questionnaire was given which was fairly lengthly and a bit repetitive from questions asked in the interviews. I was offered the position and countered their offer. Then no communication. I sent follow up emails after a week+ I was told they were rescinding the offer and were going in a different direction. This is not a good way to treat a candidate and someone that you offered! Why not just come back and say you couldn't meet the expectations and tell someone you still want them on your team because of their qualifications etc., but that you understand if they cannot make it work? Not impressed!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Smile Direct Club (Nashville, TN) in Nov 2018
Interview
The entire process took 3 weeks. I applied through Indeed on 11/5, a recruiter emailed me 11/6 to set up a time to talk about the position and background. Had the initial call on 11/9. After the initial call, the recruiter wanted to schedule a Skype interview. Had the Skype interview on 11/14. She asked about my management style, more about my background and basic situational questions. The Skype interview lasted about 45 minutes. After the Skype interview, the recruiter emailed me to set up a time to have a phone conversation with the district manager. Had the phone interview with the district manager on 11/19 and it was the same questions about my management style, and situational questions. After that, I was scheduled to have a phone interview with the area manager on 11/21. Immediately after the 3rd phone interview with the area manager, I was asked to do another phone interview the same day with the Regional Vice President. The same day, the recruiter, emailed me and asked me to send her 2 references and my most recent paystub so they could make an offer. On 11/26, I was offered the position! Overall, it was a great process and quite quick. There was a lot of great communication.
