      Product Manager Interview

      4 Jul 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Skillable in Jun 2025

      Interview

Everyone I spoke with was very professional and well organized. Each interview session provided very good insights into the company. The recruiter I worked with at Skillable was one of the best I’ve ever worked with. Extremely well organized and she was fantastic to work with during the whole process.

      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Skillable (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2024

      Interview

I’ve never paid much attention to Glassdoor regarding companies and I’ve certainly never done a review on a company, however Skillable is such a poor company that I feel that it is my duty to warn other serious professionals. Beware of this place as I am no longer certain that they are legitimate!! The interview started with the recruiter telling me that she was not technical and wouldn’t be doing a deep dive into my experience. 1. She asked me to give an overview of my career 2. Read a description to me of the position 3. Asked if I had any questions Told me that there would be 3 more rounds of interviews and that she would provide more information the following day. The following day I receive an automated rejection email. I reached out the recruiter immediately as this blatantly contradicted our conversation during the interview in which I took detailed notes - which included the setup of the teams and names of hiring managers that I would be speaking with next. Why would I receive this information at the close of a call and be asked to look out for her communication the next day if this was not the case? During this follow up conversation I asked her why it was decided (after my interview) not to move forward with my resume despite tons and experience working with only top 50 companies globally managing very complex initiatives. Her response was not transparent and then proceeded to plead with me “not to sabotage her company”. I asked her how asking about transparency in their process would result in her bringing up “Sabotage”. She had no response and kept apologizing and saying that I didn’t understand the complexities of her recruiting job and how ultimately the hiring manager should be talking to me themselves however she is made to reach out regarding these matters.
