I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sinch in Apr 2025
Interview
First 15 minute phone screen with recruiter mainly going over role and expectations. Then scheduled with 45 minute with director of engineering where they cover your resume and past experience. This wasn't too technical and they did most of the talking. It didn't feel like I was being interviewed fully.
Then I was scheduled for a 1 hour panel interview with a principal and senior software engineer. They asked many technical questions to verify my resume skills which ranged from Kotlin, Object Oriented design, Docker, agile, pair programming, concurrency, Spring, event driven design, RabbitMQ, and log tracing. I felt good about this interview and felt my skills aligned with the role. A few days later recruiter reached out saying they need a week or so to gather feedback from all interviews but I didn't hear back after waiting more than a month. I'm assuming they went with other candidates.
