Simpson Thacher put me through four rounds of interview, of which I had taken some time off of work to complete. They then ghosted my recruiter for about two weeks with no explanation as to why I didn't get the position. However, after putting someone through that many rounds of interviews, a company would certainly know why they did or did not like a candidate. I believe my mistake was mentioning that I have a young child at home during my last interview. Waste of time.

I met with 5 different members of the team all varying in seniority. Each conversation I had was seamless. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome. It was easy to open up about who I was and how I could be a great fit for the firm.
