I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Simple Approach (Manchester, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
I was told about this job through a recruitment agency. I turned up & had the first interview & it went well. The Head of the design was a lovely lady. She set me a small design brief to design a collection. I came to the second interview and presented it to her. The recruitment agency called me to say they offered me the job & I accepted. I was sent the job offer in writing via email as well. I was then emailed a week after from the agency to say I no longer had the job offer & this was a decision made by the director/owner that had never met me. I was told that he wasn't informed by this decision & she had made the decision without him. There was no clear reason why. It was something like, he felt the role was too junior for me. Later I applied for a more senior role at the same agency for this company and the owner wasn't interested ..again no real reason. This doesn't come across as a professional company & one that supports diversity within the workplace. There was no one of colour working there and the owner had never met me yet he may have seen my LinkedIn photo.

I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Simple Approach (Kowloon City, Kowloon City) in May 2008
Interview
The interview process is very smooth. I met with the head of design department and showed her my portfolio. She asked me few questions about what I am looking for in this position and I was offered the position.
