There was no HR screening call at all so I had zero context of the role. The interview with the hiring manager was rescheduled 4 times, and on the day of the interview I waited on Zoom for 10 minutes before the meeting began.
The hiring manager had clearly not read my resume and had no context of me or my background. His questions were bizarre and indicated that he had no clear understanding of the role he was hiring for himself. He was insulting and cutting with his remarks, and I think he genuinely believed he was being clever with his questions - he was trying to catch me out basically. It's 2022, stop trying to game the interview process, and just have an honest and genuine conversation!
Terrible experience, interview lasted 12 minutes, and I immediately wrote to the (really rude) HR lady and said I didn't want to pursue this role and that the hiring manager was disappointing.
