HR screening interview for the 1st round, but no news after the interview (wait for a week to follow up but still no response). Overall like other HR screening process with no action point, bit disappointed with the "ghosting" treatment from them.

The first was response was issued immediately to schedule an interview. The interviewer was over 30 minutes late, and the interview was quite good. At the very end of the interview, I was asked about my salary expectations. I confirmed my salary expectations and asked if it was in line with the position. The interviewer got nervous, did not answer my question and then said we would be in touch. I was ghosted. I followed up with a thank you email and never got a response or any feedback regarding the position. This is why job posters should indicate the salary before an interview. Furthermore, if someone is not in the range, they should say that and not ghost people.
