I applied online. I interviewed at Shoppers Drug Mart (Brantford, ON) in Mar 2026
Interview
Even though I wasn't ultimately selected for the role, the interview was an incredibly positive experience. The hiring manager was engaging, and the thoughtful questions they asked challenged me to think deeply about my career goals. It boosted my confidence and left me excited about the future.
It's quite easy process and there is nothing to be feared. if you know stuff explain it honestly. Do not lie ask for initial training politely and they may offer it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Shoppers Drug Mart (Prescott, ON) in Apr 2026
Interview
Fairly informal, lasted around 10 minutes. Was asked about my experience, working in a team, status for working in Canada (as I'm over on an open work permit).
Was also asked about salary expectations and said I was happy with the range stated in the advert ($18.60-23.50), but was then told it would be Ontario minimum wage ($17.60)...
The job was just stated as part-time but sounded like a zero hours position from the interview, so definitely wary about applying for future part-time roles here again, or at least at the Prescott branch...
