I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams in Oct 2009
Interview
I received an on campus interview and it was with the Regional HR Director. It was hands-down the weirdest interview I had ever been on. I talked maybe 15% of the time. The director even critqued my resume during the interview! He also explained why his colleagues wouldn't like me for the position but how he wanted to take the chance on me anyway. He sent me to visit a recent grad in the position to see how he liked it, and then get back to the HR director about if I was still interested. I did all of this and then never heard a word back. I followed up a few different times via phone and email and never heard anything. Totally gave up on the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Multiple interviews one with a recruiter and one with a city manager but mostly questions about yourself, more general and background questions with a few personal experience questions. Overall a seamless process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked mostly about my experience and involvement in college.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Tampa, FL) in Jan 2022
Interview
the interviewer didn't really care and was on the phone during the interview and made me wait over a month just to hear from them to schedule an interview. when I showed up the person didn't remember me and only asked me questions about personal life and not much about the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sherwin-Williams (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2021
Interview
Was very easy and comfortable. You will be doing a phone interview asking basic customer service questions, in store interview with a store manager, and a video chat with the district store manager. If you’re calm and amicable there would be no way to not get hired.
