I emailed my resume to a craigslist ad for the job. I got a call back fairly quickly, went to the interview, and had a job by the time I left. The owner called my reference very quickly
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters
Interview
Interview process was quick. However, the manager of the store you will be working at does not do the hiring. Which is a bit off. The interview on the surface seems great but once you start working there it is a totally differnt story. There is a real lack of communication and expectation. The person who hired me dosn't even work at the store I was going to be working at and gave a lot of false information. Examples are salary ( made way less than told), hours, flexability, training and shifts. It was obvious they never even read my resume.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters (Hadley, MA) in Jan 2011
Interview
Very simple--called to reply to Craigslist ad, was asked to come into the store, was asked very few questions and asked to train almost immediately. I was surprised I was not asked more questions. The person hiring seemed not too concerned with me at the time, and very distracted/busy with other things.
