I interviewed in April 2018 and had a similar experience as others have posted. They definitely have a flawed process, as you do speak with multiple people in HR/Talent Acquisition before even reaching the IT team. It looks like HR is doing a great job in one area...eliminating highly qualified talent without letting someone who understands technology assess the overall fit. The person I interviewed with appeared disinterested in what I was saying. My guess is that she didn't understand. I too got no feedback, until receiving the standard 'moving forward with another candidate' email...and the position is still posted weeks later. Great organizations are built on transparency, and I didn't get the sense that their HR team was being honest in how they dealt with me. Anyone who takes the time out to have a face-to-face interview deserves more than a system generated rejection letter.
Shamrock leadership should take note. There are many great companies in the KC area. Candidates are not going to deal with this foolishness. You really need to revisit your interview process. Unfortunately for you, this candidate will NEVER consider you again. We're all big boys and girls. If we're not the right fit for what you are seeking, be forthcoming and state that. Don't hide behind the automated emails from the ATS. Even better...let qualified technical people be the ones to assess whether the candidate can add value...instead of eliminating someone for god only knows what!
