I had a disappointing interview experience with this company. A former colleague of mine referred me to a couple of job openings. It took weeks before I received an interview invite. The phone interview was a mix of situational and standard questions, but the recruiter seemed disengaged and was somewhat rude when discussing the hiring process. They said I would receive an email in a week or two. After hearing nothing, I followed up and was told that I'd hear back soon as the hiring manager was out of town. However, I received no further communication, and my application status on Workday showed 'rejected.' Moreover, I received no update about the second position I had applied for. I later found out from my referring colleague that they had already interviewed several candidates and were extending an offer. I wish the recruiter had been transparent about the process for both positions. It felt like a significant waste of my time when they could have simply informed me that they were pursuing other candidates. My advice to the company is to respect candidates' time and provide clear updates throughout the process.
