      Receptionist Interview

      20 Apr 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Servcorp (London, England) in Feb 2026

      Interview

The interview process was quite structured. It started with a brief introduction about the company and role, followed by questions about my background, communication skills, and ability to handle customers. There was also a short role-play scenario to assess how I would deal with difficult clients. The interviewer was professional but friendly, making the overall experience comfortable.

      Question 1

How would you handle a difficult or angry customer at the front desk?

      Interview

I talked to about three people before getting the job. I actually received advice from the second interviewer on how to word some things I said for the next one! It was pretty relaxed and they were very nice

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Servcorp (Brisbane)

      Interview

Goes down as one of the most bizarre and tedious interview experiences I've had. I applied online and about a week later got a phone call screen which was pretty standard. Asked to come for an interview and the first thing they do is get you to sit for a general knowledge test. It is not difficult just basic maths and english, however just weird time to have this in the process? I then has a lengthy conversation with a manager who asked me to come back for a second interview the following week where I met with another lady who asked personal questions not relative to the job and the they got me to stay back another hour to meet with someone from HR? The second interview is also where they reveal how sub par they would like to offer you and tell you to meet kpi's to get bonuses. After all of this they call to say they liked me and basically wanted to offer me a role but would like me to come in for a trial day first? I declined the role all together after the poor interview process and salary and accepted one from another company.
