The process took almost 2 months and about 8 conversations with 4 different people and home assignment. The majority of the team was kind and left a positive impression, but the recruiter (or the decision-making process)...
At some point, they just started stalling, telling a story about a hiring freeze but then they started asking for references from previous direct managers. This is ambiguous, because I have been working for the same company for the last 5 years and I cannot ask my manager to give a recommendation even before I have received an offer.
I asked my former manager to give me a recommendation, with whom I worked 6-7 years ago and the seeking alpha recruiter questioned him for 15-20 minutes!!!
But that was not enough, they started pressuring me, demanding to provide the contact information of the former manager from NDA project, which is impossible.
I don't know, maybe it was an attempt to lure a contact out of the NDA project, maybe they just don't know what they need.
Be careful with them and don't waste a lot of time and hope on this company.
