Met with a panel of inside departmental leaders. Several Chiefs, Captains, and went through approximately 20-30 minutes of questions combining about the candidate and scenario based critical thinking. The first half was the basics including (list strengths, weaknesses, experiences, etc). However, the second half was more geared toward "name a time when you..... (used integrity, lead a team, pushed yourself, etc.). I also remember a scenario where they read a story about a situation (half page) and then asked several questions such "how would you respond to this and why".
