I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ScribeAmerica (La Porte, IN) in Nov 2012
Interview
My manager interviewed several people over the span of 2-3 days when I first was interviewed for an entry level position as an ER Scribe. The ideal candidate is someone who has completed at least 2 years of college with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. They should be in a program that is medically oriented (usually pre-med, but also those pursuing nursing, PT, PA, etc.). The best candidates have completed a 4 year degree - these candidates are more mature, have a better work ethic, and a better grasp of the medical knowledge needed for this position. My manager was very friendly, personable, and willing to answer any questions we may have regarding both training material as well as information regarding their own personal experience when they first started with the company.

Question 1
She did not really ask me any questions that I did not expect. Review the material on their website and you will be prepared.
low pressure, more conversation-like than anything. However, they are still looking for good answers, a promise of communication, and a detail-oriented mindset. You introduce yourself and the interview goes from there. Everything is virtual as well.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ScribeAmerica in Sept 2019
Interview
Usually no interview as long as you are a strong scribe and are comfortable in a leadership role. They offer the position when they know the prior manager is leaving.
Super easy. One call with the chief and will ask about availability as well as how fast you can type. No surprise questions. Didn’t feel like an interview at all.
