Interview
To say this was the most frustrating experience would be an understatement. The whole process took 10 weeks which is in itself is ridiculous. I had to reach out myself asking for an update multiple times as weeks would go by with no word. I had an initial phone interview with the talent acquisition specialist. A few weeks later I was asked to come in for a second in person interview with the talent acquisition specialist, as well as the hiring manager for that position. After another few weeks of waiting, I was asked to come in to job shadow the other employees within that role, as well as to have a panel interview with NINE other employees. The job shadow seemed kind of pointless as it was only a half hour. The panel interview was an hour long and just consisted of each representative asking 2 to 3 questions. After that panel interview and job shadow, I had to wait another three weeks just to get an email back saying that they were not going to move forward. It seems like such a waste of time, effort and energy for everyone involved for an entry level position. Especially when you consider they are all going through this same process with multiple candidates. The whole process seems to be a bit flawed. It might be best that I wasn’t offered the position as I already had a bad taste in my mouth over the lack of communication and length of time of this whole process.
