The interviewer showed up to the meeting (via teams) 10 minutes late and said they were not going to turn their camera on. They then proceeded to inform me that the position that I was applying for did not exist, and that the position was actually for a mechanical design engineering position. I had been in contact with the company for nearly a week and this was never mentioned until the interview started. Unprofessional and a rude waste of my time. When I went to verify that the posting was infact for the product engineering position I confirmed on both the corporate website and job board websites that it still lists the position as a product engineering position. I will not continue the application processes with this company as they have demonstrated they have no interest in the employees time.
