Process was an online application, numerical and STJ, online interview, assessment day in London with 4 other candidates. As it is a new scheme all employees were very unclear of what the role actually entailed and where it was even based! The whole scheme seems to have been rushed together, hence the late recruitment cycle for a graduate role. Emerging talent team were more like a comical double act as oppose to recruiting managers for one of the largest European banks! Feedback was pathetic/poor in regards to the Assessment Day, considering the amount of work and preparation put into it. If you're serious about a career in banking I suggest applying to a global competitor such as HSBC/Barclays/UBS instead of the shambles Santander seems to be.
