Interview
HR interview went well I thought, I think the reason it didnt go forward is b/c of pay. They advertised twice and I applied through the first posting and the second posting for the same role had lower pay

Interview
I interviewed for a Paid Media role and was asked to complete a take-home case study as part of the process.
The project brief explicitly stated that a conversion funnel summary (inquiry-to-admission rates) would be provided, which was critical for evaluating performance against the business’s stated goal of cost per admission. However, that document was never included in the materials. The dataset that was shared only contained campaign-level metrics, making it impossible to fully answer several of the core questions as intended.
In addition, some of the reported CPA and CPC figures in the dataset did not align with the underlying spend, clicks, and conversion data when recalculated.
I reached out multiple times for clarification but did not receive a response before a decision was made.
Given the time required to complete the assignment, I would have expected more complete materials and responsiveness from the team. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and did not reflect a well-structured hiring process.
Advice to Management:
Ensure that take-home assignments include complete and accurate data, and provide timely clarification when candidates ask reasonable questions. It will lead to a better candidate experience and more meaningful evaluations.
