You can spend a year jumping through their hurdles, passing all the little tests, waiting patiently and they arbitrarily reject you. The interview was more like a hazing. They intentionally treat you like dirt. I guess its part of the game. The communication with the investigator is extremely poor, don't expect any response to emails or inquiries. You will spend most of your time waiting endlessly. Unless it's your childhood dream and you absolutely have to become a cop, don't waste your time or have a backup plan.
