I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara in Nov 2023
Interview
multiple rounds of 30 minute interviews, 2hr panel interview, final mock discovery/presentation round for 2 Directors. Not the hardest interview process out there but definitely making sure they get good people and take their time.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Samsara (Skagit City, WA) in Mar 2022
Interview
I actually enjoyed my interview process with Samsara. I got a lot of information about the company, where they are with building out their public sector segment. After my first two weeks on the job I can say that all of the information provided was accurate and there have been no surprises.

Question 1
What would my 90 day plan look like in regards to prospecting and account management.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Samsara (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2021
Interview
This was a negative interview in that I was offered an interview of which I was really excited about it, based on their availability with at least 7 days notice and many options and settled on a day 8 days away based on THEIR availability.
In speaking with their top sales leader, I was referred to and contacted immediately with HR. That part was fine.
Spent the time in between researching the company, learning about all of their products, services, their current team and really selling myself on the mission as well as the role itself which I really, really was interested in.
The crappy part was less than 12 hours before the interview I was sent a "rejection" notice saying that "Unfortunately that the roldehad been closed."
No names, and it seemed very generic.
I then follow-up with the HR person and she had given me the following answer "Correct - given we have filled the position it does not make sense for us to connect at this time"
That's all the email said. What a terrible response from an HR person and a waste of resources and top talent to have to go through that thoroughly unprofessional experience. Really caught offguard by it and can't believe an organization that preaches innovation, diversity and being on the leading edge of things to have that happen.
